Frontend Developer

Hey, I’m Christoph and I’ve been working as a front-end developer for over ten years. I had my first experience with web development, as I had to build a website for my music project after my studies as a sound engineer on my own.
In 2008 I decided to start retraining as a digital media designer, which I successfully completed with an IHK degree.

Since then I have been working as a web developer with a focus on frontend for smaller and larger companies, as an employee or as a freelancer.

You can find some of my larger projects I’ve worked on if you slide down on this page. My work focuses on user-friendly, high-performance and low-barrier solutions. I also offer technical advice in the concept or design phase to point out possible implications.

2018 - 2019

3sat Mediathek

At the agency for transformation Exozet, Christoph worked as a senior frontend developer on the relaunch of the 3sat media library and the App for a year. In the implementation, attention was paid to a modular approach based on atomic design.
The following technologies were used in the implementation:

2014 - 2022

ZDF Mediathek

At the agency for transformation Exozet, Christoph worked as a senior frontend developer on the relaunch of the ZDF media library.

In the first year, a detailed concept was created that included a prototype that already contained several elements in order to have a look and feel. In addition, the exchange with the conception and design was very close at this time, since many technical questions regarding browser support and accessibility had to be clarified.
The next two years were the implementation phase.

The integration of heute.de into the media library also followed in 2017, whereby I also took over the concept and design work for some modules.

2019 technical update and major refactoring.

At the agency for transformation Exozet, Christoph worked as a frontend developer on the relaunch of the website of the real estate company Buwog.
